Ralph wants to have me thank all of you for all the mail and parcels he received. He had a huge pile of it he said. It warms his heart to know so many people care about him. It gives him the strength to go on.

He is doing very well but barely had time to talk to me. He had a full day so far. They worshiped at Ruth and Cal De Witt’s church this morning. So after lunch Cal took Ralph all over the place to show him the wetlands that he is always talking about. He was off to the evening service and after church they will have supper there.

For all of you that were worried about me, the picture with Gayle and Ralph sleeping on the ice was a faked sort of “photo op.” ( I wasn’t worried).

His bike is holding up really well he said, and so far has not had much problem with saddle sores. He is still riding on the original tires, but not for much longer he says because they are getting pretty worn.

He is looking forward to coming home for one night and to be able to sleep in his own bed. He says that he sleeps well, though, and the Permarest is great (thanks Sue and Bill).

He had run into Pastor Peter already and I could hear him talking in the background.

    Hi Ralph
Good to hear that things are going well with you and that your bike is holding out as well. Tires though sounds like another story. Every Sunday we hold all the bikers up in prayer in church, if not part of the bulletin announcements than prayer requests. Only 3 more weeks to go! May the Lord continue to bless you and the rest of the riders and give you the three “e’s” …….energy…….enthusiasm…….endurance. May He grant all that you need to complete this amazing ride.
You are in my daily prayers.
    Love Wenda

Good to hear that you’re doing so well. It’s probably a good idea to get some new tires – after all you can still use them after Sea to Sea is done. We’re still in the habit of climbing past Cora when we get to church so she won’t feel too lonely. Always ask how she’s holding up, and then of course ask about you. You sure are an inspiration to us ’seniors’! You keep pedalling, and we’ll keep praying.

    Hi Ralph:

Glad to hear you are doing well, sounds like you are really enjoying the trip.

Continued safe journey, and keep an eye on Gayle, she is quite the gal in her blogs, and must be on the tour as well.

Keeping you and everyone in our prayers.

    Ed & Lennie

    Hello Ralph,
Glad to hear you are doing well. Nice that you met up with CalDeWit. I’m sure that you gave him our greetings. Home is getting closer all the time and I’m sure that will be a welcoming change for you. We are leaving MI on Saturday. It’s been great here at AuSable and I’m to give you greetings from John and Sally. Happy peddling!!!! Jane and Henry

    Hi dad,

Thinking about you today. We’re glad to hear you’re doing well–you should keep those worn bike tires and have them bronzed or something. They have served you well.

We are having VBS this week and it is, as always, tonnes of fun! Kids are great, and we had a good time camping, although it rained every day. Now we’re drying out all our stuff :)

    Love and prayers,

    marja
