Reached 25 percent

Last week I bought my brand new bike and I am just itching to be able to ride it.  I donated my old bike to a Sudanese friend who was in need of one. I have also reached 25 percent of my fundraising goal. London First CRC had a pancake supper for all the riders from our church (8) and we made around 2,000 dollars before costs. I also got the O.K. from the Wellandport CRC that they would support me.  Years ago my wife and I were members there. So we keep plugging along with the fundraising.

Raised 10 Percent

I have now reached the biblical amount of 10% ($1,000) of my goal. John VanderSteen (fellow biker from London) and I went looking at new bikes on Saturday. Bikes ranged anywhere from $150 to $15,000. Some of the bikes were so light I could lift them with my pinky. I do as much biking as is possible, but am waiting for spring and better weather and road conditions.
